Centerpiece vases, flowers, candles

Kylie, on January 31, 2020 at 11:12 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 12
Where did you get your supplies for wedding centerpieces? I’m trying to find the cheapest options. Looking for clear vases, artificial calla lilies and roses to put in water, beads for the bottom and floating candles. I found shorter ones at dollar tree but I would like a little taller ones as well. Thanks!!

I would check for those items on Amazon. I just did a quick search for the calla lilies and found 18 stems for about 14$. I’m sure they sell all those other items too. I’d also check Facebook to see if you have a local “Wedding Buy/Sell” page for those items as well.

Facebook marketplace has a lot of that, depending on your area. I got my lanterns and candles from someone selling for an absolute steal.

I'm going to look for glass containers at thrift stores.

Candles and lanterns I'll likely get in bulk at IKEA.

I bought packs of mason jars when on sale. when they're on sale they're legit like 50 cents a piece.

Dollar Tree has 9in and 7in tall clear glass cylinder vases that can be used for flowers or candles. I found them in store but you can also buy a case of 12 online. https://www.dollartree.com/floral-supplies/vases-containers. All my flowers I've gotten from Hobby Lobby when they're 50% off.

I saw the 7&9 inch ones from dollar tree so am planning to use them. I was hoping to find some a little taller also but all I find are pretty expensive.

Oh ok, gotcha. I know Hobby Lobby has some taller ones but I'm unsure of the price. They usually have everything 50% off every other week though.

I was going to say either dollar store or Michaels would be good for DIY stuff.

I'd suggest looking at different dollar trees in the area, maybe looking at AC Moore (they're going out of business and have crazy sales going on), Michael's or other craft stores. For artificial flowers I'd say look at Hobby Lobby if you have one in your area. I made the bouquets for my wedding and got all of my artificial flowers from there for crazy cheap, and they all look real.
