Today I grabbed some eucalyptus and stock flowers at Trader Joe’s, and arranged them in a $1 dollar tree vase. I like the wild look so I trimmed them to be somewhat different heights.
Thoughts, as far as a DIY/cheap/simple centerpiece goes?
It is about 17in high and 2 feet across, so fairly sizable. This would be for round tables with perhaps a few candles and burgundy tablecloths folded and laying over the edge of the tables.
My other idea is perhaps painting the vases to look like faux pink terra cotta (our colors are burgundy and pinks along with neutral ivory and champagne). Along the lines of this photo.
Would that add to the look? I could also swap white for pink flowers.
