Centerpiece Disaster

Natalie, on October 14, 2019 at 6:46 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 7
Hello ladies! I am currently on the hunt for wedding centerpieces. My biggest issue is that I dont want flowers! I was thinking about doing manzanita trees, but I am still not completely sure. Also, how tall should a tall centerpiece be? I am so lost!

As for how tall, that is up to you. You have to decide what kind of look you want for your tables. I like floral centerpieces, but I'm on a really tight budget, and flowers are just too expensive. So, I'm doing a grouping of candles. I have 3 different heights, in tall glass cylinders. I'll do some colored stones in the bottom, then a candle. The three will group together on top of a mirror. I'm getting most of my supplies from Dollar Tree online. The rest will come from either Michael's or Hobby Lobby, depending on who has the best sales. My vases will be 7.5", 5" and 3.5", so not very tall. I don't want them to be so tall that guests at the table can't see each other. Simple but elegant is what I'm going for.

I think height wise is up to you! I would advise though just be mindful of having bulky things at eye level because you want your guests to see you. I’ve seen people do tree like centerpieces with sticks and limbs. (One of my friends did one and spray painted it silver and it was gorgeous) Here’s an idea!

You could do lanterns with candles in them! I think centerpieces should be short enough that people can see whoever is sitting directly across from them.

I really like the taller trees for centerpieces! This way guests can see across the table

    Herbs in cool pots!

Centerpieces should be low enough that you can see the person sitting across from you. That's just my opinion.
