Sara, on December 17, 2019 at 9:57 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 1 12

So I am def. DYI'ing my own centerpieces.

Trying to stray from any floral as that gets expensive and we have to cut costs somewhere.

Post away! I want to see people's DIY centerpieces Smiley heart

I don't have any pics on this computer of the ones I used, but what I did was get square glass candle holders at dollar tree, wrapped silver sparkly craft table around the top, added some silver and purple gems inside, and added silver sparkly flame less votive candles. I set them an silver sparkly craft paper i'd cut down into squares. I had them on white table clothes and it made a really pretty glow around the room

This is what I'm going for with our centerpieces. Our venue already has the wood pieces and lanterns, my mom is spray painting wine bottles rose gold, and we found some really cheap aritificial baby's breath on Wish and at Walmart Smiley smileCenter Pieces 3

Yes! I love the lantern with the floating lights idea - I am def leaning towards this with some sort of gold accent tied into it since we are doing gold and black as our theme/colors

I am going fairly basic with my centerpieces. Each table will have a runner in tartan cloth and colored linen because it was the same price as long as it was the same material. There will be a votive (picture 1 in aqua; rented for $1.50) in the middle of each table. Tables will be in sets except the last three which will be in one group. Anywhere a table joins another table, there will be a small group of faux pearl flowers (picture 2; total $30-2 batches for 8 of them)

bridal party table will have the vases that come with the bridesmaids bouquets (and the bouquets themselves of course which were a little more expensive but $65 isnt bad for double use-Picture 3) which I found at a local florist advertised as regular flowers so there was no wedding upcharge and some more of the votives. our main centerpiece is a couple of crystal swans. with colored table cloths, i wanted to give people some space and keep things minimal.
