Catholic Church fees? Pittsburgh!

Alaina, on July 8, 2017 at 6:30 PM Posted in Planning 0 9

Hi!

Can't seem to find any consistent info on Catholic Church fees around town. Specifically looking at Our Lady of Angels in Lawrenceville, St. Stanislaus in the Strip and Immaculate Heart in Polish Hill. If anyone has gotten or will be getting married there and can shed some info on cost that would be great!

We live close to all three and we're actually open to becoming members. We need to pick one anyway (we both still belong to different childhood parishes)!

Thanks in advance!

Have you called them? Or gone in person to talk to them? That's usually the best way to get an answer from the church. Our fee to use my church is $400.

Each parish sets their own fees, so you'll need to call (or better yet, visit) each one individually. If you're looking for a church home anyway, what better way to decide than actually going there? They may also have different prices for members vs nonmembers

Try calling them. Our fee was 300 for the church in northern jersey.

You're not going to find an answer unless you talk to them because every parish sets their own pricing.

It's best to visit the church especially if you want to become members. Ours is free for active members and $1500 for non active members

Our fee is $1500 because we're not getting married in our home parish. I think for active parishioners it was $500. I'd suggest registering with one ASAP...we had other churches by our venue turn us down because we weren't parishioners.

You need to call each church. Mine is $1250 in Baltimore city and then several hundred for music coordinator fees too.

Every parish is different. At my Catholic parish we simply make a "donation" to the priest for performing the ceremony. Usually $150.
