Catholic Ceremony with no Mass

Pretty much the only thing cut out from not doing the mass is the Eucharist and the Testament of Faith, everything else says in.

There is no such thing as a short and sweet Catholic ceremony haha. I am having one and we will still run an hour.

I know things differ some parish to parish, and some places do make exceptions, but the forms are not supposed to change. If you're having a Catholic wedding it's supposed to be because you're planning a Catholic marriage. Embrace the traditions and enjoy the process!

The Prayer Of The Faithful Is Part Of The Liturgy Of The Eucharist. So If You Are Not Having Communion The Prayer Of The Faithful Most Likely Would Not Be Included

Actually the Prayer of the Faithful, aka General Intercessions, are included in all three forms of a Catholic wedding. Catholic Wedding with a Mass, Catholic Wedding outside of Mass, and Catholic Wedding between a Catholic person and a non-baptized person (also no Mass included)

I think they are part of the Liturgy of the Word. They're done at Communion Services and often at Prayer Services, too.

Well, my sister got married 10 years ago with no mass, and did not do the Prayer of the Faithful or a unity candle. We will see what the priest says. I just wanted to see if anyone else had any experience with it not being included.

We are not have a mass but the Priest is still including the prayers of the faithful.
