Cathedral Veil problem

I have a cathedral lace veil from Davids Bridal and I've been trying to figure out how my dad will be walking me down the aisle. I have to hold onto my veil with bouquet. But I won't be able to hang onto my dads arm with my veil in the way. The consultant said he can have his arm around my back to my other shoulder. But I don't think that'll look right.

I'm having trouble visualizing the issue. Why do you have to hold your veil?

So as I walk, the veil stays full in the back. It won't close up because of the weight of it. Sorry it's a little confusing and weird issue.

I've never seen a bride hold her veil. Do you have a photo of your veil? Are you saying you want to hold your veil around you like a shawl?

I'm also confused as to why you have to hold your veil. Is it too heavy? I've never seen someone hold their veil as they walk...

I haven't seen this before, but if this is an issue, is it possible that alterations could make some type of pin to hold the veil to your sides for you?

Why did you buy such a heavy veil that you have to hold it when you walk? IMO, that veil is impractical and should be returned.

David's bridal can add clear mini clips that can attached and perfectly place the veil. It is a bridal alteration, but it will perfect hold your veil in place. If your a DIY bride, then look into it.

My dad and I walked arm in arm while my mom held onto my arm from the outside of my veil and also helped hold my veil in place.
