Cathedral veil or bridal cape?

I watched How to train a dragon The hidden world last night and I absolutely loved the wedding scene. The bride's outfit was amazing. So it got me thinking whether or not I want a cathedral veil or bridal cape like the one below.

The thing is I am a big jewelry person and I've already figured out my wedding jewelry. I LOVE how my necklace looks with my dress with the veil on and I can totally picture how my hair and make up will bring the whole bridal look together.

But I've also liked the bridal cape look for awhile and I think it will be great for my November wedding. What do you guys think? Team veil or team cape?

I’d probably go with the veil so it doesn’t cover your dress.

The bottom of your dress flairs out to much for the cape. Veil will work fine!

BTW - BEAUTIFUL dress!!!!

I can totally see wearing the cape for pictures outside and then changing into the veil for the ceremony. Do you think that would work?

I think I would like to stick with just one for the sake of saving money! Maybe just the veil to keep the jewelry?

Who is the designer of your dress? It’s stunning!

I think the veil veil might go better but who cares?! A cape would be awesome & different! It would look killer with that necklace too.

Agree, you'll just have to try on some capes and decide if too much.

I would choose the veil. I got a fingertip length full lace border mantilla veil, I could picture that on you as well, gorgeous dress!

I just looked up the kind of veil you are talking about and they are beautiful! I might be looking at a drop veil though if I went with a veil. My FH wants to lift the veil apparently. 😆😂

Hey Khin! I think I'm also Team Veil. Especially since you have your jewelry chosen and are happy with your look as a whole. The cape is beautiful but I feel like a veil will work better with your dress.
The dress is amazing BTW!! It gives you a fabulous silhouette!
You mentioned you have your hairstyle planned already. What way are you going to wear it?

I looove the idea of a bridal cape and the one you shared is so cool and beautiful! HOWEVER, the train of your dress is INCREDIBLE and has so much drama! I feel like the cape would work better to add drama to a dress that didn't have as much interest. But your dress is so stunning and so intricate, I worry the cape will be too busy and detract from your dress. I would recommend a simple veil instead. Really love your whole look

I love the cape!!! That is my personal choice and you would only have it on for an hour tops for ceremony and pictures and show off your dress the rest of the evening. Plus there are so many wedding capes on Etsy to pick from that will work with your dress.
