Cathedral Veil on Grass ??

Following because I hadn’t thought of this! I’m getting married on AstroTurf 😂

Loved my veil! Went from leaves to grass & got stuck in one small branch. It really wasn’t a hassle though.

Someone told me their veil got caught while they walked down the aisle. So of course I didn’t sleep at all that night.

I emailed my venue the the next day and asked if I could come to the ceremony with my veil and heels just to have peace of mind about it all. They said of course.

I went, and it just glided over the rock ceremony pathway. It was perfect!!

If you’re worried, just do a lil test drive!

I loved my cathedral veil, but I did have some trouble with it. My veil got stuck on the steps as I walked in to the chapel and came out of my hair immediately as I started walking. Everyone was starring at me as I had to stop and put it back in. Then about half way down the aisle it feel out again. I guess I didn't put it back in well enough. When we were taking pictures in the garden area my veil was fine though. Leaves and twigs got stuck in the lace on my dress, but no issues with my veil. I would wear it all over again because of how gorgeous they look. Oh and even with the veil falling out, it didn't mess up my hair.

Those are actually some of my favorite bridal photos. I’d say to just go with it, you only get married once & the veil just puts everything together IMO.
