Catering

We are using Calhoun’s!! The food is great and it was within our budget. They also provide a lot of food so that helps! We looked at actual catering companies too but the prices were just too expensive for us

A friend of mine got a Mexican restaurant and it was SUPER CHEAP but amazing food!!! We're having a restaurant do ours instead of catering company but they are a one only little country cafe.

I had my wedding reception in a restaurant instead and it did feel cheaper because I didn't have to worry about renting things like linen and glass and platewares

We are using a smaller catering company but we also opted for a breakfast/brunch reception following our 11am ceremony, so that type of food is a lot cheaper!

Ha- we are using Mellow Mushroom. I have no regrets with this decision as everyone we have told can't wait for the pizza buffet. It's on the fancier side of pizza and they offer great catering packages! We just couldn't justify spending 1000's of dollars on one meal.

Our friend did a taco bar at her wedding and it was a huge hit as well as very cost effective.

Yay! We’re using Mellow Mushroom too! I’m happy to find another couple using them.


We will have 4 different pizzas & chicken caesar Salad. My family thinks I should add the pasta salad as an option. What are you doing for sides?

We are just getting Chipotle catered and having a salad option for possible vegetarians! Much more affordable on a fixed budget!

We had 125 guests and had two food trucks running all day and night. IT was very reasonable and people could eat whenever they wanted to from 3P - 11p with a break in between for the ceremony.
