  I would talk to the company you’re catering through. My caterers needed a minimum 2 hour set up time. Our dinner started at 5:30 so they arrived at 3:30.

  They will come in before the ceremony. If you tell them what time your ceremony and reception is they will decide when they need to set up.

  Definitely discuss your timeline with your caterer. They'll know how much time they need to set up, and when they should be set up by.
