Catering to picky eaters

I was reading an article about get together and the writer was complaining about picky eaters. She said if she invites them they can eat what she serves or starves just like her kids. So it got me thinking is anyone catering to a picky eater? Not a diet restriction/ lifestyle but just picky eaters...

Heck no I'm not putting that stress on myself or FH! Lol the only exception is my FBIL who has a severe allergy and we have already discussed that with the caterer. But someone just being picky can pick up some fast food down the street! Lol

Nope! We didn't even have a vegetarian option until 2 people requested it, they're getting a salad and butternut squash risotto which I think is cool. I have one friend with severe allergies so she gets special attention but I don't care what anyone else wants or likes honestly, we picked food WE like! 😊

I do NOT cater to picky eaters. I have 100% sympathy for food allergies/gluten but im not going to work around every person who does or doesn't like something. Your wedding isnt a restaurant!

I'm in the process of selecting my menu and from what seem to be the trend these days, is that couples choose based on their personal preference. My sister suggest that what we do but I felt it would come off as selfish. I feel you should try to cater to the majority of your guest.

I haven't had my wedding yet. I am thinking of popping the question next spring. (something happened that pushed it back) When we do get married the groom has Asperger's syndrome. He only eats a small number of foods. Hot dogs is a big one for him. He loves them. What I am thinking of doing is having the food be buffet-style. We would have a hot dog bar. Then other more traditional food options. It will be a little different but he is the groom and its his wedding too so he has to be happy. I figure this way will work best without be low class or ghetto. So to answer your question for us we have to cater to the picky eater groom.
