Catering Tip Question

Hi folks!

My caterer sent me the bill today. There's two parts that make up the total: food and service. When tipping, do I calculate the tip for the servers (buffet and bartender) based on the food price or the service price?

First find out how much you are already being charged for gratuity (tip) . You don’t need to tip on top of the required included tip.

Like Michelle said, I'd check to see if gratuity is included in the service charge (and if so how much)! If it's not included then I'd tip 15-20% of the food bill! 🍽️
