Catering Options

So my fiance and I are trying to weigh all options for catering while being budget friendly. I know there's the traditional caterer to hire for a wedding. We possibly thought bringing food trucks in. His brother went to Harris Teeters I guess and catered food from them and just hired a serving staff. Anyone else have any thoughts or went with something completely u orthodox dfor their wedding?

    Italian and bbq foods are the most cost effective for large amounts of food. Ordering food from somewhere and a serving staff is a good idea. Food trucks would be neat, definitely something different!

    I agree! One bridal couple I saw went real unique with a baked potato bar, and served that as their main with a side salad. They had protein toppings for the potatoes.


    I would make sure you check with your vendor. I wanted to have an ice cream truck for scooped ice cream, and they veto'd me!!! Lol. so they may help you narrow your focus down

    I am doing pasta and salad bar. I will have gluten free and vegan options for dietary preferences.

    Local restaurants provide catering all the time and the food is delicious for a fraction of the price.
