You might want to ask the venue for possible caterers. They might have a list to call and choose from.

If push really comes to shove a lot of restaurants offer catering now so you could always look into that as well!!
Best of luck on your search!

My advice, local caters and food trucks. BBQ cater is the cheapest option. I’m paying 1260 for 120 guests for food. 2 meats, buns, and 3 sides. We are providing the drinks (water bottles and pop cans in galvanized tubs of ice). We have aquintances hired by FMIL to help service the food and drinks. So family doesn’t have to do anything and the food is catered professionally Smiley smile

Not a nightmare... relax. I’m getting married less than 3 months since he proposed and I already (in one week secured all of our vendors.... you can do this!!! There are many catered that aren’t on the apps... we had our choice of caterers and went with food trucks because we’re both quirky and fun! Keep looking and enjoy the process!!

We're doing something very similar, even the galvanuzed tubs Smiley smile . Famous Dave's is catering our wedding of 130 guests for $1,700. That's for a full-service buffet with all taxes and fees included. 2 meats, 2 sides, and cornbread muffins.

If you want something other than BBQ, check into local Italian/Mexican/Greek/Middle Eastern places...depending on what you like. They seemed to have the cheapest catering packages, ranging from $10-$15/pp, and that was in the heart of Minneapolis. When looking for caterers, we found that many don't show up when you search caterers, but if you know a restaurant you like and go to their site, they usually have a tab about catering!

Just breathe! Many restaurant options don't require you to book as far in advance as businesses that are solely caterers, and even then the caterers typically say something like "ASAP...4-6 months in advance." You have time and options and it will all work out!

I'm in GA and I am getting married September 23rd. We are having a local BBQ place cater. We just set it up the week before since they do not require advanced notice. It's about $10 or so a person. It's buffet style but they serve the food. Plus they provide the plates, cups, and utensils. We will be using galvanized buckets with ice for the beverages.

I know someone that had Chick-fil-A cater their wedding. Another that had Chipotle.

It all depends on your theme and what you're looking for.
