We had a group tasting the first time and the food was TERRIBLE. Everything we ate was not good except maybe the veggies. However, we had a private tasting with the food we plan to serve at the wedding and it went REALLY well. The food was seasoned and very tasteful. We left happy.

We met with and tasted caterers before booking and had great experiences even if we didn’t like the food or the business. Just moved to the next on the list. If we were required to book someone first and get a tasting later, they were scratched off the list and not considered to be worth our time. .

We loved it. Our caterer did a tasting at an actual event they were doing that day (not at their office). We got to see them setting up so they showed us how they label allergens, the different types of plates they use, and things like that. The menu wasn't exactly the same, but they gave us all the items that would be at our wedding including all the entrées. They also asked us about our day-of timeline and all the little details so they could be sure when everything was happening and do their part to keep the day running.

We had a great time at our tastings! They were laid back, fun, and the perfect way to decide which caterer we wanted to book

We had a lot of fun at our tasting, they let us bring 2 guests so my dad came and my fiancé's identical twin brother came. We brought my dad because he s a bit of a foodie and also very honest with his opinions (respectfully of course) and we brought his brother because we are having quite a few vegans/vegetarians at the wedding so we thought it we be good to get some opinions on those food options. If you can bring guests bring people that will help you and not make the choices harder my mom would have enjoyed coming but she says everything is delicious and that wasn't what was needed at that time. The food was amazing it was so hard to choose, I also really enjoyed getting to know the people we are dealing with better too they were so nice to us but the double takes from the twin thing was hilarious. I was like get ready they ll be dressed alike at the wedding Smiley smile . Have so much fun!!

The best fun I had in years when it came to food. They gave us an entire meal and the tasting was free. The food was the hit of the reception.

Update: it wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t great either. We got to sit and talk with our caterer and it honestly seemed like he forgot who we were. He tried to offer us some cost cutting things even though we specifically said what we wanted. Our steak came out and it was undercooked! The salad was amazing, the chicken and vegan dishes were okay. So now I’m super nervous that our caterer isn’t going to be able to execute our menu and my anxiety is through the roof. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Our tasting was a hot mess. The food was not good at all. The chicken that we decided on edible. Since we didn’t like the original fish at all they replaced it with salmon with no extra cost. The veggies and the vegetarian lasagna were ok. The food was just ok during the reception

Our venue has a full service restaurant in it. So before we booked, we went for dinner. Then for our tasting, they seated us in the restaurant but served us the food we selected. We also went for dinner one other time. All three times have been fantastic. We are switching one or two menu items but we're excited for the food day of.

I'm having anxiety now because I have been trying to get a hold of my God who is a caterer. And I have been asking him to let me see the menus that were made up and to have a tasting of what he was going to serve of what we talked about. And still nothing as I am getting our final tally numbers. But I need to see the vision if I dont he from him soon I will have to look for and person. Its getting to close
