Caring about everyone’s opinions!

Hi Everyone!

I wanted to create a discussion about people’s opinions, because when it comes to planning your wedding ... there are a lot of opinions and I was honestly starting to let them get to my head.

I’m not one to make a decision without asking for ones opinion. I always need some reassurance before purchasing something or making a decision. My family is very important to me, and so is my fiancées family. I wanted to make decisions with everyone’s approval, especially the approval of my parents and his parents. I find that sometimes it works... and sometimes it doesn’t.

Throughout wedding planning I have felt so much stress... but now 2 months before the wedding I am FINALLY not letting anything or anyone get into my head. The decisions that I make with my fiancée are for a reason... it’s because we both agree with something or like it ... so that’s how we are going to proceed. It’s our wedding day and we don’t care if people don’t agree with everything we do, or like things that we buy... it’s whatever makes us both happy!

Just a note to all the brides and grooms out there... don’t let ones opinion affect how you live your life! Listen to it, appreciate it and keep it in the back of your head ... but NEVER let it affect your decisions. Your wedding day is YOUR day.. not anyone else’s!
