I would go to someplace like Michaels and look at the scrapbooking decorations. They'll have a ton of things for your theme! I'm making my own too, and that's where I went. They have tons of sales and coupons too. You can look at their online site for ideas before you go.

I would suggest using scrap pieces to test paints and adhesives first. Foam board can be finicky when painted or having adhesives applied.

I would suggest a coat of paint and then maybe a personalized vinyl decal, or if you have steady hands, to hand paint something. I love the idea of a rose to keep with the beauty and beast theme. I'll be doing a "cards and best wishes for the new mr & mrs" on our card box. I'm planning on getting the socker greenhouse from ikea and painting the frame a metallic gold and then adding a vinyl decal to the clear party. I think a beauty and the beast silhouette could be cool with "cards" written below.

I think cards on the front in a pretty font and maybe a rose on top would be perfect!! or you could spray paint some candle sticks gold, put them next to and in front of the box and just have the box say cards.

Gold filigree for sure. You can get filigree in wood from craft stores and you just paint it gold and glue it on. It will match Beauty & the Beast exactly, then you just put that signature rose resting on top.
