Card Stock weight on Save the Date Postcards

happycamper, on December 27, 2013 at 9:17 AM Posted in Planning 0 2

Hi Everyone,

My fiancee want to send out (non magnet) save the date postcards. We are both pretty handy with Photoshop and for the most part have settled on an image already. We are considering using Vistaprint through their regular matte postcard option (not through their wedding sub-heading) and were wondering if anyone has used this card stock before? We've used the glossy for work-related stuff, but never the matte.

Is anyone familiar with the weight of the card stock used on other popular invitation sites like minted or tiny prints?

Any thoughts would be great!

For my VP postcards I got the 130lb premium glossy stock and I love them! Don't forget to go through Retailmenot or VistaPrintDeals to get 50% off! Smiley smile

I used the matte with linen option and it was very nice for that price point. Just avoid the free option, which is a bit too thin.

Also, there is a sample kit https://secure.vistaprint.com/wedding-sample-kit.aspx?xnav=WeddingHubSmallTeaser&rd=1
