Card Box

I personally like the none clear ones just because you cannot see the inside. But I don't think its tacky.

I love the first one! Do you mind sharing the Etsy shop? And I honestly like the whole clear card box idea, especially since you can see cards in there that it lets the guests know ohh that’s where I should put my card. The acrylic box looks classy to me, but be careful because I’ve heard of people purchasing acrylics boxes that ended up being shattered or cracked because of how delicate they are.

We had a clear one! All you can see is envelopes, it’s not like you can see how much money you got haha. I didn’t even think about it being tacky, I just wanted something simple.

How do you plan to use it after the Wedding?

I don't think either is tacky.
The white ones text is easier to see. But the acrylic one is easier to see "oh, that's where cards go" and you'll be able to see the text easier once some cards are in it.

I like either but I highly suggest you designate a trusted person that no one expects you'd hand it off to for the night to hold on to for you two. It's just a safety thing so no one takes your money.

I have seen both used and think it really depends on which one fits with your decor style better.
