Card box that locks

I bought one from Michaels and I toyed with the idea of changing out the clasp with a small locking mechanism but I didn't want to risk ruining it. (Although I got a killer deal on it so it wouldn't have been throwing too much money if I did) Instead I'm going to glue ribbon around the box (perpendicular to the slots so it kind of seals it shut.

Have you checked Etsy? They have cute options that can be customized.

We bought this one which I love because it “locks” without having a visible lock. The bottom unscrews so you can get to the cards. This seller has lots of other designs that are a similar box with different words or writing. This is what I'm looking for as well. Totally forgot I'd need a card box. Now stuck on finding a locking one that isnt expensive.

I would also check Etsy. They have many for under $50, or you could get some ideas for DIY. Michael's sells plain wooden boxes that you could decorate and put a lock on too for pretty cheap.
