Captain's table logistics

ValZtoB, on March 2, 2015 at 3:54 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 2

This is like the last detail I have, so please help. Smiley smile

We are having 25 guests plus the two of us. The wedding/reception is taking place on a public dining cruise. Our tables will be in a U shape with the Bride/Groom at the head and then two tables of 12. We opted not to have the MOH/BM sit with us because they are coming with their families.

Finally, the question: Who do I seat closest to us? If we seat MOH/BM and their families, then our parents get pushed out into the middle, but if we do it the other way around, same issue with the BM/MOH. The other thing I was thinking is putting all family on one side and then MOH/BM and families on the other side.

What would you do? Thanks.

I agree that with such a small wedding this doesn't matter as much.

Who do you want sitting next to you guys? Would anyone's feelings get hurt if they get pushed further down? I don't think you need to have your BM/MOH sitting with you because they will be with their families. But it's all about your personal preference.

I would do the traditional and blame it on "thats the way it is. Lol next to you your Moh, and family, then your Parents. Same on the other side. Are there alot of kids?
