Cape Train & Headpiece Veil

We're having a very Italian wedding and I though it might be cool to go a little ancient Rome with it. I'm considering having a crown like the one pictured below. And a cape train. I never liked cape trains all that much but I appreciate the modesty and it would be nice with the theme. However, I refuse to not have a veil. My mother says a veil can still work if it's short enough (like to my shoulders) or as long as the cape train. I'm unsure.

It's going to look stunning!
I think I'd go with a long trailing veil. I think short would look truncated and take away from the cape.

My honest opinion... I think it would look too busy with a veil AND a cape AND a crown. It’s just a lot. Maybe wear just the veil for the ceremony, then wear the crown and cape for the reception. That way you could have both the traditional bridal moment (ceremony), AND the fun, on-theme look (reception).

I agree with Ava. I would split up the accessories to achieve different looks. If you must have a veil worn along with the cape and crown, maybe a birdcage would compliment the look.

Hi Kathryn! That crown is gorgeous!! Have you tried all of the pieces on together?
I tried on veils when my wedding dress came in so I could see how it all looked together, and that helped me decide on the length and style of the veil I wanted! ❤️
