Can’t find light Navy Blue bridesmaids dresses

Maybe try looking for a cobalt blue? Navy blue in my mind is always darker.

For example, this is from David’s Bridals website. They look completely different in color and the lighter navy is what I’m trying to go for. However, when I looked at the two different colors in the store, they looked very much the same and both were dark navy.

It may be the type of fabric that makes it look so much different. Have you tried azazie.com? They have a Lot of options! Here are some of their blues. I think you’ll have to look beyond navy to find your perfect color, navy tends to be pretty dark! Hope that helps! 🙂

Congratulations, I'm getting my bridesmaids dresses from jjshouse, many of their dresses are available in over 40 colors, my girls are wearing style 105912, if you care to see!

Navy blue literally means “dark blue.” That’s like asking for light black. Maybe a different shade like David’s Bridal’s cobalt or Azazie’s ink blue?

I wouldn’t totally write off David’s bridal. I’m not sure what their navy options are specifically, but I know that the color dress we ended up using looked TOTALLY different on the website than it does in person! On the website it looked like a muted seafoam green, but in person it’s much brighter and like aqua. You can see the difference in the pics... this is supposedly the same color!


If you’re near a David’s bridal I’d recommend going in person to see what the colors actually look like. OR I’m pretty sure you can order swatches online for a dollar each!

Azazie has like 17 shades of blue!
