Can't find a frame for seating chart!!!

Susana A, on March 31, 2017 at 10:23 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 7

I just got a seating chart, the size 24x28.80.

I can't find anything good for that size.

What did you guys frame your seating chart?

Idk what to do, I can't even find a decent looking frame for that size.

If you guys know any good places to get big frames , I would appreciate your help Smiley smile

I used a large easel (like ones they have at Hobby Lobby).

ETA: I created our table assignments on a piece of foam board from Hobby Lobby, decorated that, and put it directly on the easel; no frame needed.

I'm also planning to go without a frame. Just planning to print it on a sturdy cardboard and set it on an easel. Could you do the same?

Another option, if you have crafty people willing to help you, you could buy a bigger wood frame and cut it to the size that you need. Good luck!

Check consignment stores and Goodwill. I found a large gold framed photo at Goodwill for $20. I just took out the glass and photo and stuck in my seating chart. Everyone was commenting on it and my aunt started telling everyone I had it custom framed for $80... not sure where the hell she got that idea.

Have you tried Amazon? I feel like whenever I'm looking there they have every size imaginable

Depending on how crafty you're feeling, you could always buy some wood and make your own. It may not be super fancy, but you'll get enormous satisfaction out of doing it yourself.

Or Amazon. Amazon is my go-to for almost anything I need.

I bought one from Hobby Lobby also. It is just the frame and has to back on it.

@rachel I would put the seating chart on a large easel, but it's not made out of cardboard it's just a thin paper.

@mrsallen I have look on amazon they have really cheap frames but they look horrible, but I guess I have no choice.
