Can't decide short or long veil

Jessica, on January 25, 2018 at 3:01 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 13

My mom & bridesmaid loves the short veil with this dress. But then I love the long one (not this exact one) and love how it looks in pictures. I'm so conflicted, if the long veil will be too much with my train.

Also, I'm thinking of doing a simple raw edge veil. Would lace or small trim on the the sides be too much??

I'm planning to buy it from etsy and found an amazing business that will make my beautiful veils. Would love your input on this. Thanks!

I love the long veil! I don't think the lace edge would be to much, as long as it isn't super thick lace.

I love the look of very long veils. You’ll only have it on for the ceremony and some pictures. I think raw edge would be nice since there’s already lace on your dress.

They both look great! I'm always team long veil though. The only reason I didn't get one is because my train is already super long.

Personally, I like the shorter veil. The dress is beautiful and the long veil might be good for drama but it mutes the lace details

They both look lovely! While I generally vote for longer veils, I think I would go with the fingertip veil with this dress!

I like the short one for this style. The long one takes away from the beauty of the train

Long veils have more of a wow factor. If you want the long veil then go for it! I'm always team long veil.

They also don't create a horizontal line that can make some people loom shorter and draw the eye to where the veil stops. The long veil does not distract and keeps lines elongated and makes you look taller. It is also light enough to see the detail of the back through.

Plus think of the pictures you and your future husband could take with both of you under the long veil! I'm a sucker for those pictures.

Thanks everyone! I'm going to purchase the long cathedral veil with no lace or trims. Smiley smile
