Can't add rei registry

I've seen this discussed alot before, but with no obvious solutions. We created a registry with REI (through myregistry.com) and it appears to be impossible to add this to WW. The link that myregistry gives won't be accepted by WW. Is there a workaround to this issue?? It seems like this topic should have been sorted out looooong ago.

I just added the link to my MyRegistry.com site manually to my text on my wedding wire registry page. There should be an option to insert a link when editing your text, hope this helps!

Thanks! I’m copying the registry url into the space provided on WW to import a registry, but it just tells me that whatever I put is an invalid registry. Worked for Amazon, but not rei/myregistry.com...

It's a known problem with WW for over a year that they won't seem to fix since "they aren't experiencing the problem". You can email your registry to customer service and they will link it for you. If you haven't sent out your link to guests, I highly suggest using a different wedding site

We decided to ditch out and use The Knot. Much better UX, no obvious bugs like WW, less of a data mining feel, and no hassle. Thanks!
