Here is an example of a candy buffet station at this beautiful wedding. Hope it's helpful and inspirational.

I don't have a picture yet as my wedding is not until July but we're planning on one as well. Our candy will all be wrapped (mini candy bars, twizzlers, swedish fish, hershey kisses. nut rolls, mints etc. There will be ~30 kids there and i just wanted to make sure hands, sneezing, etc. didn't touch the candy. Anyway, in all the research I did, Walmart and Amazon had the best prices (better than other companies that specialize in bulk candy or the Oriental Trading Co).

I don't have any pictures, but I do have an unsolicited opinion lol. I've been to a few weddings with candy buffets and I MUCH prefer when they have candies in assorted colors. When you have them all matchy-matchy, for instance all red m&m's, red skittles, twizzlers, etc. it reminds me of a baby shower or a graduation party.

I recommend getting "name brand" candy instead of generic. Amazon has great prices for buying candy in bulk. I agree with the PP that Walmart is another good place, though I also found good deals on Oriental Trading. Etsy has a lot of options for cute candy bags.

I saw this stuff. I was considering doing one of these too and doing simple bags. Do a bunch of fun candy. I wonder how far in advance you can get the candy without it being bad?

Thanks! I wouldn’t even find colors for our colors if I wanted to do that. Coral and navy. But I wanted to do colorful ones too. I love that pop of color thing

I love the bag ideas. And my planner for our wedding said after Halloween is a great idea because it’s half off. A lot of candy lasts a long time on the shelf. I worked at a continent store and ot lasts 6 months to a year. Including chocolate. But I wouldn’t buy chocolates until a month prior to be sure it wouldn’t melt

Good point on the chocolate. I looked up bulk candy on amazon. I added like 15 different types of candy to my cart it was around 300$ lol. 2-5 pound bags.
