Candles

We haven’t had our wedding yet, but I will 100% be using candles and dim lighting for both our ceremony and reception. I think it creates such a romantic ambience!

I wish we could have had more! We used them on our reception tables and we had a display on the fireplace mantle.

Candles and dim lighting are always in!!! 🕯 Here was our reception table.

Candles aren't going anywhere. But they aren't generally the main light source. Most venues now only allow LED. Come to think of it, I have never attended a ceremony with dim lighting..usually in mid-afternoon with bright lighting our doors and same for the reception. Do whatever works best for you.

They’re both pretty timeless for setting a certain mood. We’re using both dim lighting and candles.

I don't think candles can ever be a thing of the past! They seem like one of those things that will always be on trend. The way they're used and they type that's used might change, but candles always look nice! We use some small tea lights throughout our reception space and I love how it looked. The little glow from a candle sets a very romantic scene and I love it for weddings.
