Hey everybody me n my husband been together for 13 years married 6 of them years we never had a wedding n I am ready for one but there’s a problem we buried his daddy on our day we got married now it’s not so special can we change our wedding day to the day we meet

Your wedding day is the day you got married. But whatever you choose to celebrate privately is up to you. And if you want a vow renewal (not a wedding) now, you can have it whenever you choose.

Absolutely - we didn't have a wedding when we got married over 4 years ago, so we are doing a reception on our 5th year anniversary. Except we couldn't do it on the actual date we got married, due to a variety of reasons we are doing it a month and a half later. No big deal at all.

You can't change the day you got married. Like 2d Bride said, you can celebrate whenever you want, but you can't change the past.

I'm so sorry for your loss!
Now, legally, you cannot change the date you got married. Whatever is on the marriage certificate is the marriage date. However, you and your husband can choose any day you'd like to celebrate your vow renewal, and celebrate that date as your anniversary from now on!
