Can the grooms suit color match that of the bridesmaid dresses?

My wedding is coming up next month and I wanted my fiance to wear an emerald green(darker shade) suit. My bridesmaids dresses are emerald green (brighter shade).
We got the dresses before he chose his suit but the color he chose pretty much matches my girls....I wanted him to stand out more but he loves the shade he chose lol. Is there anything wrong with them matching that much???

If I were you I would keep your groom in the suit he likes and do something slightly different with the groomsmen! Like maybe they don’t wear a jacket and just do a vest with a white shirt so there’s some contrast

My only fear is them clashing.... it’s one thing when it’s a vest/tie not quite matching but it looks close enough, but a full suit being off from their dresses may have a less pleasing effect

The groomsmen will be in tan suits with emerald green tie/bowties so they complement the groom. So the groom and bridesmaids will be the only ones in full green. My jewelry will be emerald green too

My FH is wearing a shade of pink very similar to the bridesmaids dresses. It will be fine.

P.S Emerald suits are sooooooo nice! That was one of my choices.

I don't think matching is an issue. However not matching makes for better contrast

There's definitely nothing wrong with that. He should wear whatever makes him feel best. The different shade of emerald will still help him stand out
