Each of these past 8 years with you have been better than the last. We’ve grown from teenagers to young adults together, learning, and loving along the way. You’ve shown me love, compassion, integrity, and so much more. You’ve taught me a lot, including how football works, and more about Ireland’s history than I’ll ever want or need to know. We’ve been through some great times and some rough ones, and we’ve always supported each other through. As we continue to grow our lives together as husband and wife, I promise to always enjoy and celebrate the good times with you, and love and support you through the rough ones. I promise to never turn down a trip to Costco, and to always say I love you and wish you a good day when you leave for work. I promise to forgive your mistakes, like that time you nearly backed over me in the driveway, and to celebrate your successes. I promise to work together to problem solve obstacles, such as a pandemic canceling our wedding, and to celebrate our solutions, like getting married in the backyard.
