Can my daughter be the flower girl and walk me down the aisle?

I grew up without a father, and my mother is very uncomfortable giving me away. My 8 year old daughter and I are very close and she has asked if she could give me away at my wedding. I was so looking forward to her being the flower girl I never considered it, but I think it's a wonderful idea. How can we manage for her to fill both roles?

Why does she need to do both? Have her carry a bouquet and walk with you.

This is adorable! Many flower girls nowadays don't actually toss anything on the aisle, so you can have her carry either a bouquet or a basket, and link your arms down the aisle. This would be lovely! So sweet!

I love the idea of her walking you down the aisle and I think it's much more significant that being a flower girl!! She can still wear a flower girl dress

I walked my mom down the aisle and gave her away to my step dad when I was 8, due to my insane grandma not letting my grandpa do it. I just carried a small bouquet and walked with her! But I was forced to wear socks with sandals. That part was awful haha. But the rest was amazing and I remember feeling so helpful/important! I vote yes.
