Can it be something old AND borrowed?

Just wondering if the it has to be two different things, or if the thing i borrowed could be old.

My FMIL is loaning me a necklace she wore on her wedding, and several generations before that. Can that count as both?

    What is it that you are using or want to use as your something borrowed AND something old? Mine is my grandmother's garter (it's been dry cleaned lol). I'm her first (of only 3) grandchildren to get married, so it's an honor she wanted, and I am happy to accept!

    Absolutely. My daughters items were:

    NEW: Earrings

    OLD, BORROWED, BLUE: My fathers sapphire ring woven in to her bouquet. She was an only grandchild and he adored her, and she him. He passed away when she was 7. This way, he was with her on her wedding day.

    I am borrowing a necklace...and then maybe my "old" will be a piece of my mother's dress sewn into mine...(however, on a quick rant,) if she is in the "mood" to allow me to do that...cuz everything I am doing is wrong...lol
