Can i wear rose gold and silver?

Jessica, on May 11, 2019 at 11:36 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 19
So, I really want to wear rose gold jewelry but the halo headpiece I want is silver.

Do my jewelry and headpiece need to match?

Also, if they do need to match, which do you think will go best with my gown, rose gold or silver? It has lots of pearlized beading on it, and I just cant decide. I'm awful at coordinating colors.

Mixing metals is normal now. Rings are made with different colored metals. Sticking with all one color is fine but not necessary today.

I personally don’t love the mixing of metals but I also know that it’s in right now.
If you’re not sold on it, maybe see if there’s a rose gold halo you’ll love just as much if not more!

All items you show are gorgeous though, including that stunning dress!

There is so little color in your whole look that each metallic will be seen as separate, one against the white, one against your hair, and they will be fine worn at the same time. I like keeping to one metal tone when there is lots of pattern, colors, and lots of accessories. Add mixed metals on multiple bracelets, belt, ankle chain, shoes, necklace, hairpiece, it looks junky, not coordinated enough. But for all your gown is richly patterned, it is tone on tone, an impression of solid white. So the few different metals would be great. I think the overall look, not whether or not they are in fashion at the moment, matters most in deciding to mix metals or not.

You can totally mix it up! I wear gold and silver together all the time, and at least one piece of my wedding jewelry will be my Nana's which will be gold, yet everything else will probably be silver. Don't worry about that definitely do both. You will be stunning either way!

My gown is heavily beaded on the bodice in silver pearls, and clear crystals. My headpiece is silver, but my veil has touches of rose gold, my engagement ring and band are both rose gold, and I plan on having an ivory and rose gold garter. Bought some rose gold glitter keds, just in case. My gown is a warm, pale pink. I will be wearing white gold diamond halo earrings. I have a custom made rose, clear crystal, and freshwater pearl bracelet that has a silver clasp. It may sound a bit much, but it looks pretty together.

I just love your rose god pieces and I think the rose gold will bring out the sliver more.

My engagement ring/wedding band are silver, but my dress is champagne lace with a nude underlay, so my hair comb and earrings will be rose gold :-) I think mixing is okay!

I think those pictures are beautiful items but remember it is your day and you should wear what makes you feel good and not worry about committing some perceived fashion faux pas
