Can i wear a strapless wedding dress in November?

I’m getting married on November 3rd on Long Island, NY. Ceremony is outdoor and reception is indoor. It will probably be chilly so I got fur stoles for all my bridesmaids but I like my strapless ball gown and veil combo way more without a fur or a jacket or even sleeves. I don’t mind being cold...

I don’t mind being cold because i love the dress so much but is it taboo to wear a strapless wedding dress in cold weather?

Go for it! You'll probably be so busy that the cold won't even matter. But if you feel comfortable, ask someone to keep a jacket handy.

Wear what you want! Its your wedding day! Maybe layer up under if you get chilly easy. But I think with all the adrenaline you'll be pretty warm already. Just have a cover available if it becomes unbearable, or your in between photos.

If you don't mind being cold for a bit then go for it. We're having an outside wedding in August and I was steering away from the idea of having lace sleeves on my dress but decided to keep it as an option because if I don't mind being a little warm (or cold) then no one else should.

I think it's totally fine, but I would still bring a jacket to have on the side, as a fellow NYer I understand the weather, so you might be fine without it, since we get some warmish days that early in the season, but I'd bring it as a precaution, because you never know. Plus, even if you make it all the way through the ceremony, you may want to warm up as soon as it over, and have something during transportation and in between photos.

You should wear what you are comfortable in on the day of your wedding. I would also have a jacket or blanket handy just in case you get really cold.

I'm getting married on December 21 in the Philadelphia area. I'm wearing a strapless dress. I did get a white jean jacket (I'm going to add lace and rhinestones) that I plan on wearing for photos if I'm cold.

Girl yes! Heck I am wearing a long sleeve dress in June in Missouri and aside from letting the venue know to keep their air on full blast lol I have no regrets!

Not at allllll. Wear what you feel most beautiful in! You’re going to be so in the moment you won’t think about being cold and everyone else is just going to be focused on how beautiful you look and the ceremony!
