This is my dress and I love it but I hate the straps. They told me they could add thicker straps, but now I'm wondering if they can add sleeves? What do you guys think?

You can def add sleeves! I got my dress at David's and they actually said you can add sleeves to any dress. Not sure abut the cost but it can be done!

If your designer says no for some reason, you could probably find some sort of cover up that would mimic the look of sleeves when it's on. I had a friend do this. She wore the sleeved cover up for the religious ceremony, then took it off in the reception because she knew she'd get sweaty from dancing around. If I'm remembering right, it buttoned on her upper back so it looked like part of the dress more so than a cardigan

I would ask the shop. Some designers may not add sleeves, but doesn’t hurt to ask. It may also depend on the type of sleeve, off-the-shoulder, capped, long. Just keep in mind a long sleeve may restrict your movement. As Brittany said, you could also look for a cover up or jacket of some sort.

Sure. Sleeve would look nice with that neckline.
