Are any of you even more confident in your decision to have a microwedding after reading all of these posts portioning guests not showing up = wasted money, debt, bridal party drama?!

Over the moon happy about our 25 guests wedding. Way less stress and we put the extra money to our honeymoon. Making our wedding more about us and not everyone else, has made this whole process wonderful, peaceful and stress free.

I agree, that’s why I decided to have a microwedding. It made my anxiety decrease as well.

I AM SO HAPPY!! We are having a wedding in Hawaii that’s closer to an engagement! We are so happy! It’s been so much less stressful and it’s a huge money saver! We are having a reception back home (mainly for family that is upset that they aren’t invited and throwing a fit.. it’s to “coddle” them) It will be a much bigger event back home but it won’t cost nearly as much as a big wedding! Our whole wedding in Hawaii is $750 and that includes everything we will need for the wedding (including champagne!) it’s also then immediately out honeymoon!! It’s great!! We get to be there with our close friends and family in paradise! Also our “reception” in Hawaii will be on the beach! There’s nothing better than this!

We had a DW with 15 guests (we checked with everyone before booking our date/venue) and LOVED it. Fun, intimate, 5-star experience. We had a 50-person reception several months later that was also a blast.

My priority was an amazing experience for us & guests. No regrets. Happy with micro-wedding! 🎉
