You can call and ask how far out they book. My baker was booked three month before our wedding because our original baker refused our business after our tasting.

I originally booked mine last month for my wedding this October, but the baker had to cancel, so I just booked another baker this past Saturday. Each one is different. As long as they aren't booked it should be fine

We booked our baker in June, and our wedding is in February. Our baker is always super busy and gets booked really quickly so I wanted to make sure we had everything reserved pretty far out.

My baker told me to wait until about 1 month out. We didnt have things set in stone until 2 weeks before the wedding.

We booked our baker 10 weeks before our wedding. They were happy to accommodate us and seemed genuinely excited about the design. It’s been a good experience!

I set up our contract and tasting with our girl almost exactly a year out. But I knew I wanted to go with her from the moment I got engaged. She's a family friend and has done all of our event cakes for the past 2 years. Her stuff is amazing and since she's officially started a business for it I wanted to make sure I booked her early.

It’s best to do it at least 3 months before the wedding, probably before is best so the baker isn’t booked up.

It depends on the baker, but 5 months should be plenty

I booked mine around 3-4 months before but I changed the flavors like a week in advance so I don't think I hadddd to book that early either.n

I booked in March for our December 14th wedding. I didn’t want to wait until the last minute.

I did a tasting with a really sought after bakery in April when I was visiting Denver, scouting venues. Signed a contract and paid half of the cake order for our August 2020 wedding. I have the option to make changes if the need arises. So looking forward to that cake!
