Cake toppers

I don't think it is neccessary and was not going to get one. Then I was on etsy and found a Dr and Dr one I knew FH would love. $20. Sold.

Not necessary. Get one if you want to, but it's not something to stress about.

I'm not doing one. I want a lot of detail in the cake itself and I think a cake topper would take away from that.

I wasn't gonna do one, but I also found one on Etsy for $14 with our last name.... but if you don't want one you definitely don't need one. That cake is beautiful!

No one NEEDS a topper, like many other wedding items. That cake is beautiful as is.

I wanted one so that I could keep it forever and always remember our day. My Grandma still has hers. On that note, no if you don't want one you don't need one

You don't need one! Many people just use flowers or the cake itself has enough details!

We have a cake topper, but I kinda like the idea of buttercream flowers on the top

We are going simple. Our cake is going to have a starfish on top. Topper is not necessary

We were lucky enough to upcycle the cake topper from DH grandparents' wedding cake from 1946.

I didn't think it was necessary but FH wanted one that matched our theme. I just ordered one from Etsy.

We definitely needed to get one because the cake itself will be very simple (naked cake) and we don't want it to look too plain.

Your cake looks great without a topper...I don't think a topper is necessary

I think it's up to you what you want to do! I think FH and I will be going for a simple one, but if you don't want it, it's something people don't notice

Not necessary. Fresh florals will be adorning my cake, I think a topper takes away from the look.

Your cake is beautiful as-is! Ours was a more plain design, so that's the only reason I got a topper
