Cake tasting?

You should call and ask each bakery. For us, each appointment took about 45 minutes.

We had 2 appts, each was one hour. The second appt, ran a bit longer because we decided to go with them.

I think they set aside about an hour per appointment. Our appointment for the place we booked with too a bit longer because everything they had was amazing.... and we finished off the tasting with champagne.... because why not

We got to ours around 6 and left at 6:45! We were scheduled to have an hour and a half but it didn't take long. If you're very picky and are looking for a very specific design it may take longer good luck!

5 minutes. We chose fairly popular flavors, to appeal to the majority of our guests.

Our venue supplied the cake. I just picked out a photo of how I wanted it to look.

I bake from scratch all the time so I went through about 14 bakers before I found one up to my standards. Do the best you can with your fiancé but find something tasty!

Our cake comes with our venue/caterer. The appointment is slotted to run two hours.

We went to 2 cake tastings & the first took an hour & the second 2 hrs. At the second consultation, we had 14 flavors of cakes to taste between 4 people. Since FMIL decided to pay for our cake, we went with the second place since she liked it. We also loved it more than the first. I've cancelled all other tastings.

I'd allot an hour for each appointment; I agree with PP, call each bakery and ask for an estimate. Some may take more time than others depending on the variety of flavors.
