Cake lady cancelled on me

Walmart does 3 tier for 140. I'm getting my cake there. Their cakes taste good and by looks alone I don't think many people would be able to tell.

My wedding is the same day! Have you messaged other vendors? That is definitely an inconvenience to you, but I wouldn't worry. I haven't even started looking for a cake yet. Good luck!

This is the cake we are going with I just called a bakery here they want $562.50 plus tax is $2.50 a serving

2.50 per serving is actually very cheap in the cake world, especially for a cake that uses fondant like your inspiration cake.

$2.50 per serving is great! Ours is $5 a serving and that's the cheapest I could find in my area. I would book that vendor if their cake tastes good asap!

$2.50 a serving is a bargain! You could probably have some luck with a smaller, cutting cake and the less expensive (and lass labor intensive) sheet cakes.

$2.50/serving is pretty reasonable! Some of the quotes I got were upwards of six and seven dollars per serving, so it can get quite expensive! Perhaps the previous vendor canceled or went out of business because she simply wasn’t charging enough in the first place. When things seem too good to be true, they usually are. you are probably dodging a bullet! I would go with the person that’s 250 per serving, it seems reasonable and also legitimate.

Ok. So I do bake and sell cakes for a side job. 2.50 a slice is a great deal. But I’m literally getting an 8 inch cake for FH and I. My bakery is doing a “cake tier “ that looks real and we are getting a sheet cake from pur supermarket. Nobody cares about cake half the time. And I don’t want to pay a crap ton of money for cake

I have a cake business and 250 for a 4 tiered cake is insulting. I did plenty for that price starting out to build a portfolio. Which only covered the cost of making it. Not the time and testing recipes to find the right one. I'm not saying that to be rude, just honest. You get what you pay for. Cake is expensive. Because I do it for a living I'm making a small cake for us to cut and then we are having doughnuts. I'm caked out lol

My cake was around $7/serving. 2.50 is cheap.

Please don't put burlap on your cake. That's really unappetizing and many people have allergic reactions to the fibers it is made from.
