Cake (how many tiers and how much are you paying?)

We did 3 tiers and it cost us like $275 i think? it would have been cheaper if we stuck to one flavor

Well it looks like I’m the only one on here that’s having a four tier cake all of them are real. I’ve never thought about using a fake tier that is definitely something to think about.

We are doing a small cutting cake for just me and my future husband.

Then we're doing 140 cupcakes and 200 mini cookies.

How was the sheet cake received by guests? I know some people don't approve of serving sheet cake but I'm considering it.

View Quoted Comment No comments were made except how tasty it was. Also, anyone who was a local knew immediately what they were getting and that it came from the best bakery in town. My mom was leary of ordering a sheet cake for the same reason you described but I talked her around on the idea. We had 3 waitstaff who brought out a rolling cart with pre-cut slices once my husband and I cut the display cake. They were cut only minutes beforehand so they were still cold but not dried out like they would be if they were cut far in advance. Good cake + proper food handling + somewhat relaxed crowd = no problem

We are having 3 tiers and it will be only $500.
