Cake Flavors and Top Layers

Two questions: 1. What flavor(s) cake did you choose? I'm trying to decide and am looking for ideas. 2. Are you doing the whole thing save the top tier for your one year anniversary? I'm not sure if I want to or not.

    3 tier square...

    Bottom: Chocolate with chocolate mousse

Middle: Strawberry with strawberry (like a preserve)

Top: Banana with a bavarian cream filling

Next year we go back to the bakery on our anniversary and she will make us another top layer of strawberry with buttercream!

We are having a three tiered cake. The whole cake will be white cake with three different fillings, oreos cookies and cream, custard (might switch to canoli,) and mint chocolate. We are also getting a dessert table from the hall.

Our bakery does a free one year anniversary cake to match your wedding cake. That way we can enjoy a fresh 6 inch cake on our anniversary.
