Option 2 is very oretty!

I think option #2 is my favorite! It has just enough detail with the frosting to be interesting, though isn't overwhelming with details.

What’s the overall tone/theme/vibe of your wedding? #1 feels the most ‘beach’ to me, it maybe it’s a little under-dressed for a ballroom. Personally, I like #3 the best - I find the uniform approach to decoration on each tier results in an elegant simplicity.

They are all great options. What is it you like about each option? Maybe pulling out what exactly it is you like about each option would help with making a decision or combining each of the 3 into one cake that’s unique to you!

Which do YOU like? I would go with 2 or 3 but they look identical.

They're all really classic, simple and beautiful. You can't go wrong with either choice.

Two really stands out to me because of the texture between the tiers is different.

A different perspective, but I look at these pics, and doing a lot of catering, I see those cakes. And not a one has ever made my mouth water or made me want a bite. They have as little to do with food as 3 dresses in a shop window. But if I am anywhere with pastries, or a lot of small cakes of different looks, colours, smells, as i a bakery window or restaurant display, I am wowed. Show me an assortment of things, and you have got me. I wish the fashion for single big wedding cakes would die. They cost more, are costly to have made, fondant tastes like crap and needs to be peeled off. I love weddings where a couple cuts a 10-12 inch 3 layer cake. While a choice of cheese cakes, a couple of different layer or filled cakes, maybe some angel food, are all there to choose from. Real, tasty ones, every one delicious.

I agree that if you remove the flowers both 2& 3 look the same. Seems like option 1 goes with your beachy theme.

I like option 3, because it's classic. I also like good frosting!

If you don't care too much for the frosting cake 1 then. The simple naked cake is really popular right now.

I prefer 2 or 3 simply because I enjoy icing on a cake!

I like 3. It's classic, kind of resembles a wedding dress, and looks more finished than 2. I like naked cakes, but they're probably a trend that will pass, and I hear they dry out faster

For a beach wedding id go w option 1. Why? Because its what you call a "naked cake" (very little frosting and I picture some sand whether in the air or something getting in the frosting in the other cakes easier??


Plus I think it has the beach vibes. The others are more church (to me)

#2! I like the different textures in the layers that give the cake the beach and ballroom vibe.

I like #2 because of the different textures, but #1 might go better with a beachy theme.

I am not a big fan of the naked cake look unless it's something like a rustic barn wedding.

I love cake 2. To me it looks more interesting alternating the smooth and the stripes. But depends how you want the flowers to be arranged.

I forgot what look we ended on. lol. But I was seriously considering look 2. I think now we are going with all 4 tiers with smooth icing and two tiers will have ribbon and two tiers will have flowers (similar to your picture three).
