I've officially booked my DJ group last week and part of what they do is give me a document to complete with the order of our reception and what we want them to announce or say as well as what songs we want for certain parts of the night and suggestions we have.
One piece is a song choice for the cake cutting ceremony. So I've decided I want the cake cutting to happen right away after we come into the reception just to ensure the best pictures and then that way the kitchen staff can cut the cake for serving and keep things moving along nicely to get to the partying a little more quickly. BUT I have no idea on good songs for this part of the night!
Any suggestions?
