Cake Cutting Songs?

You really don't need a song that relates to it. Just pick a song you like.

If you don't want to pick one, I'm sure your DJ will pick for you.

I didn't know cake cutting songs were even a thing until booking the DJ. We went with "Grow old with you" from the Wedding Singer. Runner up song was "Love you madly" by Cake (because, you know, cake).

I didn't know that we had to designate a song until we met with our DJ, but this is not a big deal at all. Pick one or your DJ will play something for you. We picked "You're My Best Friend" by Queen

The thing is. We arent having a dj. Im putting tge songs in order on spotify before the wedding. Then I'll havr someone keep track of it.

I'm just letting my DJ pick something. I don't want complete silence at any point through the reception. I think there should be background music at all times. Some people have specific songs in mind.

Couples just cut the cake while guest take pics and cheer at the kissing part, can't really recall a song while the cake was being cut at any of the weddings I have been to.
