No, but we just ordered our cake yesterday, which got me thinking about this exact same question. We're meeting with our DJ next weekend. I figure he will know exactly what will work. Are you having a DJ/Band? They should be able to give you recommendations.

I was really liking Build me up Buttercup for that, but I'm fighting with my fiancé on that one lol. He says he doesn't like the lyrics because they are about a bad relationship. I don't like the typical songs, and I think it's a very upbeat song!

We have a 2 year old son that loves the song All of me by John legend and I was thinking of doing the techno, upbeat version of the song for the cake cutting and have our son with us. It'll be a special moment for all 3 of us. Would this work?

For actual cake cutting, I'm just having the DJ play instrumental music. But right after we make the cut "Get this party started - Pink" is going to play as a break the ice to get people moving.
