Our DJ is asking for a cake cutting song, and every one Ive seen suggested is just too cliche or cheesy for me.
I’d love to hear what others have done for inspiration, my wedding is next weekend

    1-Sweet Thing by Rufus ft. Chaka Khan
    Or the normal cliche ones lol2. I can’t help myself by The 4 tops 3. Sugar by Maroon 5

    I've given a lot of thought to ceremony music and reception play list, father/daughter dance etc. But this never even crossed my mind! LOL We have our DJ booked but haven't met with him yet, so I'm sure the question will come up eventually.

    I love the thought of How Sweet it Is. Going to listen to some of these other suggestions that I'm not familiar with!

    My girls had asked questions about our day while we were out to eat and now they know. They couldn't help but laugh and I couldn't help but roll my eyes lol. It's definitely going to be something lol. It's like embarrassing but at the same time it speaks to our personalities cause apparently I'm not a stickler about it. He can get his one good laugh 😂
