“cake cutting” for ice cream sandwiches?

Hello! My fiancé and I are skipping the cake and we are having a vendor serve ice cream sandwiches out of an old fashioned ice cream cart! Our wedding is very small and feel like we need some sort of “cake cutting” to keep our guests involved. Any ideas for what to do with ice cream sandwiches at dessert time? I was thinking of forgoing “cake cutting” all together but now I’m worried! Thanks!

Maybe instead of the cake cutting, you guys can build a sandwich together then each take a bite. It'd be cute in picture to do with your ice cream stand

An idea for you and your future spouse could be to put on a fun hat or apron and help hand out the ice cream sandwiches with your vendor? You could even ask for your DJ or Band to play an ice cream truck themed jingle to announce the entrance of the old-fashioned ice cream cart! This would be a really fun way to get involved and make a fun memory with your guests. What other fun ideas do you have planned for your wedding?
